A real life story

About Honeycutt Painting

A few months after Hurricane Andrew hit Florida in August of 1992, I came to South Florida as there was a lot of work and rebuilding going on at that time.

I started a pressure cleaning business with another partner (which eventually included painting), and we covered areas from Boca Raton to Key West. So I got to know South Florida pretty well.

What I noticed about people at that time, was that people was still in a state of recovery. There was still stress and anxiety amongst people, especially after such a powerful and destructive hurricane.

According to some estimations, it caused over 27 billion dollars in damage. Hurricane Andrew was in the news everyday, even a year after it struck.

It seemed like the working, cleaning up, and rebuilding was helping people to get through it.

About Honeycutt Painting

What I really noticed after a house was cleaned up and painted, how it lifted the homeowners mood and outlook on things. It amazed me to see how painting someone’s home could make such an impact, especially during that time.

As it turns out, after working with Real Estate Agents and homeowners over the years, painting is the simplest, most effective, and most transformative way to change the exterior or interior of your house.
